Daily Devotions in Lent

Life Transformed: The Way of Love in Lent
Join other Episcopalians on this Lenten journey. Eight videos focus on the practices of the Way of Love. A daily calendar invites reflection on these practices. Copies of the calendar are available on the table in the narthex. Videos and other information are here.
Episcopal Relief and Development Lenten Meditations
The work of Episcopal Relief and Development creates sustainable, transformational change in close to 3 million lives around the world each year. This year’s Lenten Meditations focus on that transformation. Reflections are organized around the priorities of Women, Children and Climate, and include a focus on Disaster Resilience & Response work. This series of meditations will provide a glimpse into meaningful work happening across the globe. Sign up here to receive by email or download a pdf. If you’d like a printed copy let us know.
40 Days of Gratitude: A United Thank Offering Lenten Journal
This is an invitation to deepen the spiritual practice of gratitude during Lent. Simple prompts invite you to write with gratitude for a specific gift in your life. The United Thank Offering dates from the late 1800s. It was organized by Episocpal Church Women to provide funding for mission. Women were encouraged to put a coin in a box whenever they wanted to give thanks to God. Additional info is here. Contact office@stthomascolumbus.org to receive a printed copy of this journal.
St. Thomas Labyrinth
Walking the labyrinth is a meaningful way to Return to the Lord. As you walk in, speak to God. As you walk out, listen. The labyrinth is always open. Consider making it a goal to walk once a week during Lent. Learn more about the labyrinth and other spaces for prayer and meditation at St. Thomas here.
The Rite of Reconciliation
A gift of our tradition is the gift of confession and repentance. We offer corporate confession in our liturgy each week. We also have the option of private confession with a priest or other trusted spiritual adviser. Two options for the rite are on pages 446 to 452 in the prayer book. Contact Rev. Grace to schedule with her.
